Canvas Community

Our spirit of service extends far beyond our branches. We believe in leading with our heart, which is why we provide free financial education, scholarships, and are a champion for charities within our Colorado communities. Your community is our community.

        Canvas Foundation

        Schools. Families. Veterans. First Responders.

Our spirit of giving lives within the communities we serve and there is a special place in our hearts for schools, families, veterans, and first responders. That’s why in 2016 we established the Canvas Foundation.

Our goal is to support and nurture these critical areas, to leave a lasting footprint in our neighborhoods. Our Foundation offers scholarships to students to further their education, and we provide grants to local schools and non-profit organizations that have demonstrated strong character and leadership. We also host and support local charitable activities and programs that reflect the interests of the communities we serve.

Our efforts create a long-term relationship helping the Canvas Foundation to continue supporting our schools, families, veterans, and first responders in our communities.

Canvas Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our unpaid Board is made up of Canvas Credit Union, formerly Public Service Credit Union, employees who are committed to the mission and goals of The Foundation.

        Canvas Cares

We’re giving back to the Colorado communities we serve, continually dedicating funds, resources, and even employee time. This is our community too, and we’re happy to show our appreciation.

Canvas Giving Initiatives. Our organization embraces giving initiatives that focus on schools, family, veterans, and first responders throughout Colorado.

Branch Community Donations. We value our neighborhoods, it's where we live and work. That's why we enable each Canvas Branch location to give directly to their community.

Children’s Hospital Colorado. Along with the Credit Unions for Kids organization, and the Children’s Miracle Network, we raise funds throughout the year to help kids in need.

        Canvas Scholarships

We’re investing in future Colorado leaders. In 2017, we provided more than $56,000 in scholarships to students throughout the state.

        Community Scholarship Program

Every year, we award twenty-six $1,000 scholarships to deserving high school students from within the communities we serve.

        Dedicate to Graduate Scholarship

Through this annual program, we reward two students who have demonstrated strong character, promising leadership skills, and high ethical values each with $5,000 scholarships to promote their education.

We’re extremely proud to support this program that awards scholarships and mentorship to Northern Colorado high school students vying to be the first in their families to attend college.
